From the outset, we faced skepticism and challenges, with many doubting our resolve and the viability of our project. The early months were particularly trying, but your unwavering support and our collective determination have brought us to where we are today — a year later, with every doubt dispelled and every challenge overcome.

Since our launch last March, we’ve made significant strides in enhancing Maelstrom’s stability and content. We’ve resolved approximately 5,000 issues reported through our BugTracker, a testament to our ongoing commitment to improvement. Our community has grown beyond expectations, achieving over 5,000 users online simultaneously, and we’re proud to announce over 260,000 accounts have been created, leading to the creation of more than 760,000 characters. Our dedicated GM Team has tirelessly worked to address over 150,000 support tickets, ensuring that your experience is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

The success of Maelstrom, hailed as the premier Cataclysm realm, can be attributed to the hard work and dedication of our developers — Ultranix, Afgann, and Raknar. Their efforts have been instrumental in realizing our vision, but the journey is far from over. We are committed to refining and enhancing every aspect of Maelstrom. This includes correcting any quests that do not function as intended, ensuring all game mechanics and fights are true to their original design, and addressing any other issues you may encounter.
